Day 01

Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar

Early morning, begin your journey towards Besisahar, the entry point to the Annapurna region. The drive follows the Prithvi Highway alongside the Trishuli River, offering scenic views of hills, terraced farmland, and small settlements.

As you move further from Kathmandu, the environment becomes more rural and peaceful. Upon arrival in Besisahar, check into your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening. You may take a short walk around the town to observe local life and prepare for the mountainous journey ahead.

Drive to Manang via Chame and Pisang

Today’s drive takes you deep into the Annapurna region, following the Marsyangdi River through narrow valleys, forests, and traditional villages. The route passes through Chame, the district headquarters, where you can observe changing landscapes and mountain views.

Continuing through Pisang, the valley opens up, offering impressive views of Annapurna II and Pisang Peak. As you gain altitude, the terrain becomes more rugged and alpine. Upon reaching Manang, settle into your hotel and take time to rest and acclimatize while enjoying the surrounding mountain scenery.

This day is dedicated to exploring Manang and its surroundings while allowing proper acclimatization. Begin with a visit to Gangapurna Lake, a glacial lake known for its striking blue color and dramatic mountain backdrop. The area provides excellent opportunities for photography and quiet observation of the natural environment.

You will also visit Braga Monastery, an important cultural and spiritual site with centuries-old artifacts and traditional architecture. Later, explore Manang village, where you can walk through narrow streets, visit local shops, and observe the lifestyle of the mountain community. The day is designed to be light yet meaningful, combining cultural and natural exploration.

Drive from Manang to Bandipur

Continuing towards Bandipur, you will arrive at a hilltop town known for its preserved Newari culture and traditional architecture.

After check-in, take time to explore the cobblestone streets, old houses, and viewpoints overlooking the surrounding valleys. The peaceful environment of Bandipur offers a relaxing contrast to the high-altitude region.

Day 05

Drive from Bandipur to Kathmandu

This allows more people, including those with mobility issues and those who may not have the time to trek, to experience the beauty of the Himalaya, while maintaining the authenticity of the experience.
